Heermance Family - Dutch Roots
The Heermance Family originated in Holland. I am still researching this family and know little about their lives, etc. Here's how the story goes:
Johannes Foken Janse Heermance was born abt. 1655 in Holland. Wife Unknown. Their child was:
Henrick Focken Heermance. He married Annetje Van Wagenen in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. Children of Hendrick and Annetje:
Andrie Focken Heermance - married Neeltje Van Wagenen in 1710, Kingston, Ulster County, New York. She was the daughter of Gerritt Van Wagenen and Claartje Pels. Children of Andrie and Neeltje:
Hendrick Heermance - Married Annatje Stoutenburg on April 26 1751 in Kingston, Ulster County New York. She was born abt. 1730 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. Children of Hendrick and Annatje:
John Hendrick Heermance - married Elizabeth Swart. Children of John and Elizabeth:
Cornelius Johannes Heermance - married Anna Marie Bame on September 18, 1816 in Nassau Tsp., Rennselear County, New York. She was born abt. 1793 in Schodak, Rennselear County, New York. Children of Cornelius and Anna:
Elizabeth Mary Heermance - married Charles Suydam, abt. 1842 in Albany, New York. He was the son of Timothy Suydam and Maria ?.
